American Soccer Camp offers girls aged 14-18 the chance to participate in our 2016 Winter ID clinic. In the past, ASC has hosted camps and clinics that have helped assess the quality of local soccer talent, as well as attracting aspiring student-athletes from across the country.
American University Women’s Soccer Head Coach, and director of ASC, Anabel Hering, will conduct all sessions with the help of her staff and current AU players. The camp is designed to be low in numbers to maximize the individual interaction between players and coaches. ASC has a wonderful track record for producing players at American University, with many others going on to play at other Division I institutions.
Our goal is to help high school aged players understand the rigors of being a Division I college athlete, and to train the campers in such an environment that replicates the standard required to be part of a successful team. Players will be challenged in a technical capacity, as well as encouraged to carry out these skills in smaller and larger sided games involving various degrees of tactical approach.
We hope that you will join us for an afternoon of fun and competition!
The field is on campus of American University, 4400 Massachusetts Avenue, Washington DC 20016. Parking is located in Bender Arena garage located centrally on campus.
Accommodations must be arranged on your own. For more information and if you have any questions, please call 240-678-3126.
